AI & Automation
Intelligent automation that eliminates repetitive work, reduces errors, and frees your team to focus on what only humans can do. Built to your specific processes, not a generic tool dropped on top of them.
AI and automation capabilities
Automation and AI capabilities built for your specific context, not off-the-shelf tools adapted to fit. Need dedicated specialists on your team? Our automation experts for hire integrate directly into your workflow.
Workflow Automation
End-to-end automation of business processes, from data ingestion and transformation to approval workflows and system notifications. Reduce manual effort and eliminate error-prone human handoffs.
Machine Learning Integration
Custom ML models trained on your data to predict outcomes, classify inputs, and surface patterns that drive better decision-making.
Data Processing Pipelines
Automated extraction, enrichment, and analysis pipelines that turn raw data into structured, actionable outputs, at speed and scale.
AI Service Integration
Integration of leading AI platforms into your existing systems, enabling intelligent document processing, semantic search, conversation interfaces, and more.
Document Intelligence
Automated extraction and classification of data from unstructured documents: contracts, invoices, reports, and forms processed at scale.
Real-Time Automation
Event-driven architectures that respond to business triggers instantly, with alerts, escalations, and automated actions without manual intervention.
Where automation delivers the most value
AI and automation are not one-size-fits-all. We work with you to identify where the highest-impact opportunities lie — often beginning with a structured Automation Readiness Audit — before writing any code.
Operations & Finance Teams
Automate reporting, approvals, and data reconciliation that currently consume hours of human time every week.
Customer Operations
Intelligent routing, automated responses, and escalation workflows that improve response time without increasing headcount.
Data-Intensive Businesses
Extract insight from documents, emails, and unstructured data at a scale no human team could match.
Product Teams
Add AI-powered features to existing products: search, recommendations, classification, or summarisation.
How we approach automation projects
Discovery and process mapping
Before any code is written, we spend time understanding how your business actually operates. That means mapping out the processes in detail: what triggers them, what decisions get made, where data comes from, and where it needs to go. Most failed automation projects fail because the underlying process was poorly understood, not because the technology was wrong. We take the time to get this right at the start.
Architecture and tooling decisions
Not every automation needs custom code. Some problems are well-served by platforms like n8n, Make, or Zapier. Others require bespoke services, cloud-native functions, or deep integration with proprietary APIs. We choose tools based on what will work reliably long-term, not what is quickest to demo. Where a fully custom solution is the right answer, our full-stack development team builds it end-to-end.
Integration, testing, and failure handling
Connecting to live business systems requires care. We build integrations with proper error handling, retry logic, and logging so that when something goes wrong (and at some point something always will) the failure is caught, logged, and escalated rather than silently dropped. We test automations against real data and edge cases, not just the happy path, before they go anywhere near production.
Deployment, monitoring, and handover
We deploy with monitoring in place from day one. Alerts fire when automations fail or run outside expected parameters. After deployment, we provide full documentation covering the system architecture, integration points, and runbooks for common issues. Our goal is that your team can operate and maintain what we build, without depending on us for every small change.
Automation use cases we have delivered
Real examples of the types of automation work we take on, across different industries and tech stacks.
Invoice processing and accounts payable
Automated extraction of invoice data, matching against purchase orders, routing for approval, and posting to accounting systems. What previously took hours of manual data entry now runs unattended.
CRM data sync and lead routing
Bi-directional sync between marketing platforms, CRM systems, and sales tools. New leads automatically enriched, scored, and routed to the right person based on territory, product interest, or company size.
Automated reporting pipelines
Replacing manual spreadsheet exports and copy-pasting with scheduled pipelines that pull data from multiple sources, transform it, and deliver formatted reports to the right people at the right time.
Document classification and data extraction
Using AI models to read and classify contracts, forms, and unstructured documents. Key fields extracted, validated, and written to downstream systems without anyone reading a single PDF manually.
Customer onboarding workflow automation
Multi-step onboarding flows that provision accounts, trigger welcome sequences, assign account managers, and update internal records automatically when a new customer signs up or completes verification.
Inventory and stock data synchronisation
Keeping stock levels, pricing, and product data consistent across e-commerce platforms, warehousing systems, and supplier feeds. Automated alerts for low stock, price changes, and fulfilment exceptions.
Common questions about automation projects
How long does an automation project take?
It depends heavily on scope and the systems involved. A focused automation covering a single process with clean data and accessible APIs can be scoped, built, and deployed in two to four weeks. More complex projects with multiple integrations, data quality issues, or legacy systems typically run six to twelve weeks. We scope everything in detail before any work begins.
Do you work with existing tools like Zapier or n8n?
Yes. We are comfortable working with automation platforms including n8n, Make (formerly Integromat), Zapier, and Power Automate. Where your existing tools are the right fit for the job, we use them. Where they are not, we explain why and propose an alternative. We do not push custom development where a platform solution is more practical.
What if we already have some automations built?
We can build on, extend, or fix existing automations. We start with a review of what is already in place before recommending anything. If existing automations are unstable or poorly documented, we will be direct about that and recommend whether to fix them or replace them.
How do you handle failures in an automated workflow?
Every automation we build includes error handling, retry logic where appropriate, and alerting for failures. We log what happened, when, and why. Depending on the criticality of the process, we configure alerts to notify your team immediately or batch them for review. Post-deployment we provide runbooks so your team knows exactly what to do when something goes wrong.
Do we need to change our existing software to add automation?
In most cases, no. We typically connect to your existing systems via their APIs, webhooks, or database connections rather than modifying them. The goal is to add automation as a layer on top of what you already have, not to replace or disrupt it. Where some configuration is needed in an existing tool, we document exactly what is required.
How do you price automation projects?
We price based on scope, not time. After a discovery session we produce a fixed-price proposal covering what will be built, how it will be tested, and what you will receive on completion. We do not charge by the hour for delivery. If scope needs to change mid-project, we discuss it and agree a change before proceeding.
